Tim holds a bachelors degree in visual arts, majoring in photography with first class honours from the University of Tasmania. Tim has more than seven years experience working in the visual arts sector, and four years experience working with remote Aboriginal communities. Tim’s strengths are in relationship building and cross cultural communication, and his trauma informed approach to working with remote Aboriginal communities. These skills have been developed over the past four years, through living and working across the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands, and throughout Central Australia. Since 2021 Tim has worked with Indigenous directed organisations in varying capacities including Disability and Age Care Coordination, and Community Lead Advocacy with NPY Women’s Council. Tim has also worked for two years as a Studio Manager with Mimili Maku Arts Centre, in Mimili Community, APY lands.
